22.06.2016: Dr. Uwe Bartl appointed to honorary professor
We are happy to congratulate our authorised representative, Dr. uwe Bartl, to his appointment as honorary professor for rock mechanics and rock engineering at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences. He was appointed the title as from 14 June 2016 due to his commitment and his since 2008 standing teaching activity at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences.14.06.2016: Backyard party at the premises of BAUGRUND DRESDEN
BAUGRUND DRESDEN's backyard party is already a tradition and so the company's employees and very close business partners were invited again on 10.06.2016 to a relaxed barbecue. Apart from various treats and pleasant conversations, people were also given the chance to watch the first match of this year's UEFA EURO later that evening.24.05.2016: Visiting the society "Sonnenstrahl e.V." in Dresden
The 25th anniversary of the engineering company BAUGRUND DRESDEN already dates back about 3 months but real closure was only found now. In the invitation, the managing director, Prof. von Wolffersdorff, did not ask for flowers or other presents but instead called for the support of the Dresden society „Sonnenstrahl e.V.“, which dedicates their work to assisting children with cancer and helping them during their fight against the sickness with a lot of know-how and heart.The reaction of our business partners and our employees was immediate and so Prof. von Wolffersdorff was more than proud to officially present the society with the remarkable donation total of 8,000 € on 24.05.2016.
BAUGRUND DRESDEN would like to thank all donators for their support.
06.04.2016: Cross country running in the area of Prießnitzgrund
This year BAUGRUND DRESDEN again participated in the cross country running in the area of Prießnitzgrund with 3 teams in total. The traditional running has taken place since 1913 and annually leads participants over a historical track with a length of 6.3 km. This makes it the oldest still existing track event in Germany.
