Your tasks will be, among other things:

• Carrying out classification tests (sieving, consistencies, Proctor densities, etc.)
• Carrying out oedometer and frame shear tests
• Carrying out permeability tests
• Organisation and design of laboratory management (sample throughput, quality monitoring)
• Execution and documentation of geotechnical exploration work on site (pile-driving core soundings, excavation of trenches, in-situ seepage tests), in some cases using the latest sounding technology (MRZB caterpillar sounding machine from Carl Hamm)
• Surveying and staking out the exploratory starting points using GPS technology or conventional surveying technology
• Realisation and evaluation of quality tests in earthworks (static and dynamic plate load tests, density tests)
• Realisation and evaluation of standard geotechnical laboratory tests (classification, consistency, loss on ignition, Proctor density, permeability)
